Default ASP.NET 2.0 w/VS 2005

Several months ago I bought Beginning ASP.NET 1.1 w/C# because at that time no books for 2.0 were available on this site...I figured there wouldn't be that much of a difference between 1.1 and 2.0 for it to matter.

I was, however, disappointed that the book was written to use a program called WebMatrix, not Visual Studio, and a lot of the examples use features of WebMatrix that do not cross over to VS2005.

Is there an ASP.NET vX.X w/C# using VS2005 book? VS2003 even?

Jonny

Yes, the C# version of the book, Beginning ASP.NET 2.0 with C# will be published at the end of April and should be available in stores in May.

It is pretty much identical to the VB version of the book except for the code being redone in C# if you want to look at the table of contents online here:

to see what it covers.
Both of these books use the free Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition which for the purposes of either book, is pretty much identical to the full Visual Studio Visual 2005 Web Developer.
