Hi all

Can anyone help cast light on my head scratcher?...

I am using a Gridview control with an SqlDataSource cotrol which includes an update command... nice and simple!

How would I use validation controls on my Gridview columns?.. I can't see how I would get to the fields I need to validate.

Hi Rit,

You can't do that directly.

You'll need to convert the fields to TemplateFields, and then manually add validation controls in the template definition.
