Default .net with C#
Hei!

I do wish to buy the book "Beginning ASP.NET 2.0 with C#". I want to build web-sites. Am I supposed to buy any new software when reading/learning the book to have full profit? My last book was Beginning ASP 3.0. Thank you for guiding me!

Your best software to start with is Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition for your ASP.NET 2.0 and SQL Server 2005 Express Edition. These are both free downloads from Microsoft and they are so very close to identical to the Visual Web Developer 2005 version in Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005 that once you have learned them along with the book, you'll be ready to use the full versions should you need to buy them for professional work.
