Default Login Control Problem

hiiiii
whn i directly use LoginControl on page and dont make any changes in codebehind ...its work fine and site's webpart work well .... but whn i used its Login1_Authenticate(object sender, AuthenticateEventArgs e) in codebehind..... in case of webPart its shows an errror.."The specified display mode is currently disabled on this page. Make sure personalization is enabled for the current user.".....

i hav to use this Logincontrol in code behind becoz i waana exta function.........
Pls help me.....soon
