Default How to create a Release configuration?

I'm deploying my project to the local IIS. In the Configuration Manger I can add 'Release' to the Avtive Solution Configurations, but in the project configuration drop down list the 'Release' doesn't show up. It only has 'Debug'.

Could any body tell me how I can add Release to the drop down?

Thank you in advance!
