Within a Datalist, how can I align the Header and Item templates and simply make it appear to be lined like a gridview. In fact, I would have simply used a GridView had it not been for me needing to personalize some function binding via using a Label's text property.

Is there a simpleway to align the templates into distince columns?

Have you tried to present your data inside <table><tr><td> format, I mean take table tr inside your datalist which will help you to set a specified format..
