Zoom to row on gridview using querystring???

I have a gridview bound to an objectdatasource and I would like to know how to select and zoom to a particular row on the gridview based on a value from a querystring.

If anyone can help with this it would be greatly appreciated. I have tried using the navigateUrlfield but I cannot seem to get it to work.
