Default Anyone know a good matrix control?

Hi,

Anyone know a good matrix (i.e. rows and columns) repeater control? Thanks.

What about the controls that come with .Net such as the datagridview?

Sorry. I wasn't clear. I'm looking for a databound control that will allow me to display rows and columns of the same thing, i.e. thumbnails, in an X-Y fashion, where each thumbnail represents a record in a database.

A datagrid or gridview displays records and fields in a table-like layout. Not what I need. Thanks.

Am I missing something? How is a "table-like layout" and "an X-Y fashion" not the same thing? Or perhaps the description you mean is "tile layout" of records.

From what I've experienced, you'll probably need to do this with a simple repeater, and set up some conditional logic for the separator rendering.

I thought I recall a control that would do this, but I can't remember where I've seen it. (Sorry, that doesn't really help much.)

Yes, Tiling! Sorry. That's what I mean. A repeater with conditional logic for separator rendering. Yes, that makes sense. Okay I'll try it. Thanks.
