Default How to create ASP.NET Hit Counter and Guest Book

Can anyone help me develop a hit counter in ASP.NET with VB.NET....
it maybe stored in any .txt file or .xml document or Access DB.

Another thing is that I want to develop a guest book in ASP.NET w/VB.NET, help me to build this too.

Can the above said things be developed in Visual Studio 2005?

Looking forward.
