Default Urgent : Asp.Net intranet Application - gives page

Hi All.,
Please help this has to go live today by evening., iam breaking my
head for the past 3 days.,
i have created an asp.net application (framework 2.0) is suppose to
be used on local network. the applicationcomplete an worlking fine on
the development computer as well as when i put it on my office
network and assign it on iis( iam using 5.1 version, Windows Xp,
Access Database) accross the diffrent workgroups in the lan its
working fine.

But.,
when i put it on the Client's Network and assign it on the IIS(5.1
version, port no :80 Windows Xp, Access Database) its working on the
computer wher i install this application But on the network from any
other computer its not working(page cannot be displayed)

i came to know from the client that they have Firewall and they
blocked all sort of http:\\ access(except on port 80 -open to all)
server is having full access (iam not installing this application on
server). so, i tried accessing the applicatiojn from server as
follows http:\\(ipaddress of the computer)\(application path assigned
on iis)\wepage.aspx

its not working from server also ( for which they say have full
rights)

can you tell me how to solve this problem. i want this application to
work on all the systems on the network.
if i change the port from 80 to 8080 will that work..?
is there a way that we can access the pages without using http:\\ on
the intranet ?

Please help its verymuch urgent.

Are you getting a DNS error that says the server can't be found? Or are you getting a server error?

If you change the web site to use port 8080 then you'll have to make sure that the network will allow traffic on that port to go thru.

You are running on windows XP you say? Is the windows firewall active? Running a website on a windows XP desktop environment doesn't sound like the best solution due to the various problem like the built in windows firewall on XP.
