i am a student working in asp.net 2.0 can anyone give me some sample
exercises so that i can excel myself in .net.....

Did you look at the book Beginning ASP.NET?

It shows you a lot of new ASP.NET 2.0 concepts and closes each chapter with a bunch of questions testing your knowledge...
