Default Good In-between book?

Hi there,

I'm a relative noob with ASP.NET, I've worked my way through a couple of beginner books and had a look at some online tutorials so I'm ok with the basics. I just got the ASP.NET 2.0 Website Programming book, the one about The BeerHouse but to be honest it doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
Can anyone recommend any intermediate level books or resources I could use to get my skills up?

Thanks:)
