Default Deleting site names from the start page

How to delete the site names from the start page?
for a beginner it's logical to test some thing and just delete it.
But the site names still remain in the start page.

I'm afraid you are going to have to elaborate on this. What is the start page? Is it being automatically generated? Is it plain HTML?

If you create a site, VWD also creates a .sln file under My Documents\Visual Studio 2005\Projects

Once you delete the .sln file, you can click the item on the Start Page and VS then offers to delete the entry.

In addition, you may be able to remove them using Tools | Import / Export settings. Never tried that though....

Personally, I don't mind these entries that much. Pretty soon the real projects you are working on will be at the top of the list...

Cheers,

Imar
