image and fileupload control

hii all

i m working on a social website.In the registration page i hav given a file upload control and an image control.i want that when user uploads an image file in the upload control,image should be displayed in the image control before hitting the submit button.
i want a preview sort of thing.
.
is it possible?if not than any other way to achieve this?
