Default Regarding authorization

Hello guys,

         I had three pages in my application.login.aspx,welcome.aspx and admin.aspx depending on the user type i have to take them to the respective pages.i.e adimin.aspx for administrator and welcome.aspx for the others.i have to implement authorization and authentication .Please help me...

Hey,

If you are using the membership and roles provider, this is a snap. In code-behind, you check:

if (Roles.IsUserInRole("Administrators"))
    Response.Redirect("admin.aspx");
else
    Response.Redirect("welcome.aspx");
