Default MessageBox

Can anyone help me out to display a Messagebox during deletion of a record from gridview and after confirming the yes or no choice then only delete operation should be performed Otherwise record should not be deleted. Iam using a commandfield in GridView column where i have my delete image button. Also tell me how do we bring the same type of messagebox if we are using imagebutton in our web form.
Iam a windows programmer and shifting to Web domain so i need your help. pls do help me out.
