Default Problem with check persist

hi,
While logon i maintain cookie using token.

I use a session variable "var1". when I set checkPersist to true and open application again then everything is ok but the session variable lost. I understand the session but How can this variable be maintained if checkPersist is true. In token parameters how can i use Userdata for the solution OR any other option, tell me pls
