Hi All,

I am pretty new to this so please bear with me. I am trying to

create a web site for our club that will allow our members to

send different ringtones (.mp3) to their cell phones via the

website (www). We have converted the mp3's to wavs and

mid file by changing the extension for the later. The ringtones

are clips that we recorded over the past few months. Our

user have a variety of cell phone as well as carriers. I have

been online for the past few weeks gathering information.

There is so much informtaion that I dont know exactly where

to start.

I know:
that different cell phones will allow differnt file types to be

saved and played for ringtones, also that you can send the

files in a variety of delivery methods.

What I want to know is:
what are the basic instructions to send a ringtone (not be

played by a composer on the cell like a poly) to the carrier

and the phone it's self?

Also, is there any sample code asp preferably to send the

ringtone to a cell and have the cell reckognize it as a ringtone

and dl (play and save) the ringtone?

Finally which actually should have been first is what are the

steps that are involved. It will help me understand the entire

process alot better.
