Default regular expression

hello to all
i am taking the date and time from the user to enter in the textbox.
i want to apply the regular expression od date and time as:
date must be entered in mm/dd/yyyy format only. and
time must be with am/pm in the format:
08:12 pm

Hi Munish,

Ever considered using the Ajax Control toolkit for your application? (I'm assuming you are developing an aspx web app)

The Masked Edit control extender should make your life a whole lot easier, and will force the user to enter data in a format that you specify.

Alternatively, add a calendar control for the date and a couple of drop downs for the time.
