Default finding non-numeric characters

Say the structure of my file is:
no of Cols 1233
no of Rows 3421
name test

1 2 4 6 4 7
3 5 6 8 8 6
4 4 4 4 4 4
7 8 9 3 2 1

I want to seperate the lines which starts with alphabets? How does it possible in C#?

hi there.. there is a char.isdigit function that can tell you is a char is a number or not.. if you use it with the first char of the line you have your problem solved...
