Hi,

What i generally do to export data to excel
1. populate a dataset
2. bind it to datagrid/Repeater/Gridview/Datatable
3. Export it to Excel

Is there any other way to export directly from a dataset so that i can rearrange the columns to display.

well I had this issue for some time now and I can't find a way to do it, but as for you problem y don't u rearrange the dataset before binding the data to the gridview and then export it?
