        I am new in ajax.
I like to refresh iframe which is in .aspx page.
Using ajax How is it possible to automatically refresh this iframe with in 5 minutes?

whatever object you need to refresh can probably be handled with a simple setTimeout function...

myObject = setTimeout(myFunction, 1000)

The time is in milliseconds, so this function refreshes each second. Just multiply by how many seconds you want (off the top of my head, I think 300000 for 5 minutes?)

In ajax there is also one control Timer put it on the page like

<asp:Timer id="Timer1" runat="server" OnTick="Timer1_Tick" Interval="1000">
        </asp:Timer>
change the interval property what u want(It in miliseconds ).
Now timer tick event is there write what ever you want to do after specific time in this event.

U will get this event by clicking on timer control.
