Default Handle Transactions from Business Logic Layer

I am doing a web site based on the layered architecture. I have the UI Layer, Business Logic Layer, Data Access Layer and the Database Layer.I am using ASP.Net 2.0 and SQL Server 2000.

Please give me a good method for Transaction Management from my Business Logic Layer. BLL communicates with DAL only and not directly with any Database.

Dear,

In your if you are passing parameters to DAL from BLL, you can take one transaction object in ur DAL which is accessible in all DAL mehtods.
When you call any of DAL mehtod from BLL, you can use this object only when it is required or none otherwise.

Control this object from ur BLL(start, commit/rollback). Hope it will help and perhaps an easy way.

Regards,
Ali Irfan
