coming to my doubt i got a gridview whose datasource is sqldatasource.I want to have my delete command to delete data from 2 tables simultaneously.

Create a nice little stored procedure to do your deleting stuff and call it with appropriate parameters. I've never used procedures with SqlDataSource but I think it should work nicely.
