MasterPage to other Default Forms

Hi...
I have this problem.
Can any one help for me...
I have created MasterPage and if I am trying to link the masterpage to default forms, I am getting the following error...

THIS IS THE MASTER PAGE CODE:

<%@ Master Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeFile="MasterPage.master.cs" Inherits="MasterPage" %>

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" >
<head runat="server">
    <title>Untitled Page</title>
</head>

        <asp:contentplaceholder id="ContentPlaceHolder1" runat="server">
        <asp:Label ID="Label1" runat="server" >WELCOME TO MPIRIX</asp:Label>

THIS IS MY DEFAULT FORM:

While execute the file I am getting the following ERROR:

Content controls have to be top-level controls in a content page or a nested master page that references a master page.

Is there any other way to link the MasterPage to Default forms..
Please help me...

The MasterPage contains your form control. All of this code on your default form:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" >
<head runat="server">
    <title>Untitled Page</title>
</head>
<body>
    <form id="form1" runat="server">
    <div>

    </div>
    </form>
</body>
</html>

Should be replaced with:
<asp:Content ID="Content1" ContentPlaceHolderID="ContentPlaceHolder1" Runat="Server">
    <asp:Label ID="Label1" runat="server" >WELCOME TO MPIRIX</asp:Label>
</asp:Content>

Where the ContentPlaceHolderID correlates to a content area of your MasterPage, in this case ContentPlaceHolder1

And your MasterPage should look like this:
<%@ Master Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeFile="MasterPage.master.cs" Inherits="MasterPage" %>

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" >
<head runat="server">
    <title>Untitled Page</title>
</head>
<body>
    <form id="form1" runat="server">
    <div>
        <asp:contentplaceholder id="ContentPlaceHolder1" runat="server"></asp:contentplaceholder>
