Default pdf viewer for .net

is there any pdf viewer available for vb.net without installing the acrobat reader?

What are you asking? Are you asking of a component that you install on your server, feed a PDF into, and then spit the PDF back out in clear text (or something similar) or are you asking if there are other PDF viewers available to end users outside of Acrobat Reader?

The answer to both questions is yes, there are products available. For example if you want to insall something on your server (thus preventing the user from having to install Reader) you can check this product out: http://www.cete.com/Products/DynamicPDFViewer/index.csp I currently use two of ceTe's products and they are top notch with amazing tech support behind them, although their components are not free.

If, however, you are looking for a lightweight alternative to Acrobat Reader that the user needs to install you can checkout: http://www.download.com/Foxit-Reader...-10313206.html which is ~3.5mb.
