Default How to Deploy Apps?

Hello,

I create an web app with visual studio 2008 using .Net framework 3.5.
Now where to deploy it? Im having Windows Server 2003 with framework 3.5 installed.
Do I need IIS 7? Where do I get it?

Hi there,

IIS7 ships with Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 only; for Server 2003, you need IIS6. You can install IIS through the Add/Remove Programs feature of Windows. Click the Add/Remove Windows Components to select IIS.

After you installed IIS, make sure you install the .NET Framework, or use aspnet_regiis -i to register ASP.NET with IIS. Searching this forum for aspnet_regiis should give you some useful posts.
