Default What different of C# and VB

Hello!

I'm interesting to learn web development skill. I want to start learning ASP.NET 3.5. Before I start, I want to know what is the different of C# and VB, Which one is better? Thanks.

That's a dangerous question to ask here as some will argue one is better than the other, while others argue the exact opposite.

IMO, both are equal, and can pretty much do what the other can. It mostly comes down to a personal preference. It's also important to look at job ads you're interested in and see what language companies demand from you.

I agree with Imar, check the job listings in your area. That will tell you much more about what you really want to know. I've met guys who swear they couldn't get a job if they went C#, but here in San Diego they don't give you a second look unless you can show two years of C# experience. It depends.
