Hi there,

This doesn't make a whole lot of sense if you ask me.

First of all, what's the question? Then: what doesn't work exactly. And finally, what book are you talking about?

Default unable to update remote access database

The question summary was in the heading - though I suppose Access should have been with a capital A - having searched the internet I found the link quoted which I thought might help. - in a nutshell my local copy works but not the remote copy - a security issue was suggested in the search reference and the link http://imar.spaanjaars.com/QuickDocId.aspx?QUICKDOC=263 for further info

But this link is not attainable - in fact I cannot get to the site quoted in your book that I bought ASP.net 3.5 in C sharp and VB - IBSN 978-0-470-18759-3

Though I am still plodding through your book, I did and do find it interesting and you are obviously a very clever fellow, so well done - unfortunately we are not all in the same class and much of it is still above my head - but I havn't given up yet so an accurate link to the document above please, might help.

I had problems with my server today (faulty external drive) , but it should be OK now....

If the article doesn't help, please provide more information about the problem (setup, connection string used and so on).

Cheers,

Imar
