I am trying to create a room reservation system, however I am having some strains.
here is what I am trying to do:
a customer should be able to view available dates for a particular room.I mean dates on which this room is free, so that he does not book a room that has already been taken on the time period he specifies he will be staying in the hotel.
please can anyone give me some help on this?

What kind of 'help'? If you are asking me if I can give you the code for this, no, I can not do that. If you are asking for advice sure I can give you that. So here is my advice:

This is not a trivial project. It will take a considerable amount of time both on the programming side as well as on the RDBMS side. Make sure you and your team have a clear FLR, Milestones with deliverables, etc prior to writing a single line of code. The system that I worked on a few years ago was a challenging project and suffered heavily from scope creep.

I understand how serious it us, but am working on it alone, actually am working on it alone...its my first commercial project. new to asp. but thanks for the words, ill keep it mind.
