Default Crystal Report

Hi ! !

I have been lingering around my project due to the reporting portion. My problem looks like:

I create reports and write codes for them in my PC

The cenrtal database is somewhere in the other PC.

And I give the compiled exe to some other client, so that s/he can view the report and print it.

This is the scenario, but Crytal report is making this difficult. When I surfed through the internet, I found Crystal Report Server as the solution. Is Crystal Report Server the only solution for my problem. I need to work through LAN to generate reports.......but all in all....crytstal report is creating problems for me...
