Default cheat sheet

Can someone tell me where I would find some kind of compilation of various ASP.NET 3.5 items such as data types, control types, operators, statements, etc.? It would be nice (for a beginner like myself) to have some kind of quick reference of all of these that give a quick explanation of what they do with maybe even an example of it's use.

Hi there,

I don't know of any cheatsheet. It would probably be very large as there are many controls in the .NET Framework.;-)

However, the MSDN documentation is in fact one big cheat sheet as it covers everything about controls (and a lot more).

I usually search for:

MSDN ControlName class

on Google or Bing for a direct link on the MSDN site on a control class. So, searching for:

MSDN GridView class

results in this:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&s...s&aq=f&oq=&aqi=

with the first result being:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr....gridview.aspx

The same applies for properties, methods and so on.

MSDN IsPostBack property

takes you here:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...ck(VS.71).aspx

Hope this helps.

Cheers,

Imar
