Hi Imar,

They haven't insisted on the seperation as such.
But they, the designer, have argued that the model provides abstraction of the business layer.
I wish to tell them that it doesn't, but wanted to know how to provide that abstraction before I open my big mouth.
The model they propose passes all the paramters needed for a object down the layers to the business layer where the objects are created.
I wish to bring the objects up to the GUI layer and bring the logical functions down to the BLL layer.(Which I see as the data layer also with Linq).

Thanks again for your time, you have made the picture much clearer for my advise to the developer.
