Drodownlist in gridview

Hi,
I want to bind data to drodownlist whenever gridview in edititemtemplate.but without datasource.i want code if we click edit button,then only it displays one dropdownliast with data(sql) in like one of my columns.

shal any one suggest me to achieve this question
