Default Hosting site

Hi Imar, can you recommend a suitable web hosting site to host my Wrox web site on. After quite a bit of checking it now turns out that the one I am using does not support ASP.NET 4.

Note: I am in the UK

Hi there,

I can't recommend many hosters from experience, as I've hosted most of the sites I was involved in on dedicated servers. I used Brinkster in the past for some sites and they seemed to work well. You could take a look at the Hosting section of the official ASP.NET web site: http://www.microsoft.com/web/hosting/home

Default Use GearHost

I'd just like to say that after researching a while, I tried Azure and GearHost. I ended up going with GearHost. (Azure's SDK & etc. just complicated things unnecessarily for my relatively small project.) I'd recommend GearHost. Their interface is easy to use and they give you lots of useful examples of connection strings, email and other such things that made it really easy for me to figure out how to configure my project to work in their production environment.
