Default Reports Package

Has anyone tried to use "Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Report Builder 3.0" for report generation? I'm assuming this package is compatible with the software we downloaded with Imar Spaanjaars' book "Beginning ASP.NET 4 in C# and VB" and that it is free just as the ASP.NET package was. Any comments pro or con would be appreciated.
