Default Bynari Insight WebClient ????

Firstly may I apologize for this post being in this area of this forum, its unrelated to ASP however the quality of skill sets and opinions lead me to put it here;

Has anybody used Bynari Insight WebClient(2.1.0) Our company recently rolled it out and I have found several issues. Bynari do not have a known problems page and there is very little feedback from other end users I can find. Is anybody interested in sharing their experiences, positive or negative?

Have you used the 'Bynari web mail client'? I have just looked at my post again, I did not have the word 'mail' in there - sorry about that.

We failed to QA it properly before buying, I have found issues and I am trying to chat with any other users familiar with it

Hey Matt,

Sorry, I haven't heard about that yet;). This is the first time I come across that. Let me see if I could gather some knowledge on that, that would be useful to you. Any pointers to it, from where I can start off with?

Cheers!

I appreciate your reply. http://www.bynari.net/ is their home page. It is visually nice to look at but has character encoding problems in particular with the spell check and “ and ' etc in the message body. Our company QA'ed it from a security/virus (I believe its strong point) point of view but failed to let the web guys properly QA it from an end user/developer perspective.

It’s supposed to be open source configured for Cyrus IMAP and Apache however it’s been compiled so we can’t even look at the code.

My objective with this post was to get other points of view, possibly share issues found to ultimately build a complete list of 'known problems' from experienced based knowledge - or purely just knowledge.
