Default A New Comer
Error Type:
Microsoft JET Database Engine (0x80040E09)
Cannot update. Database or object is read-only.
/BegAsp/AddUser.asp, line 20


This is a message I got when I tried to run the application given in Chapter 15 of "Beginning Active Server Pages 3.0". Could anybody explain how this error comes?

You need to alter the permissions on the folder where the .mdb file is
