Identify the Tiff File -Urgent

Hi all,
could anyone please help out with solution How to Identify the TIFF FILE FORMAT IS GROUP4 TYPE,since i am using uploading component to upload the TIFF file ,before uploading the TIFF file i need to check whether this TIFF file compressed that is of Group4 type....

So plz come up with solution as this urgent..........
