Default Invalid access to memory location

Book title:Beginning php4
isbn:0-7645-4364-4
page:35
try it out- is our php4-powered web server working?
Operatitng system
Windows 2000 advanced server.
<?php
phpinfo();
?>

Problem running phpinfo.php
I followed the php server configuration steps and tested it as required but when I ran the example, the result was an error message: (Invalid access to memory location). any idea, what is causing it. Help please

That sounds weird. I'd reinstall PHP to double check you put everything in the right place. What version of PHP are you running? What web server? Does your web server work for non-PHP pages?

Hi Nik thanks in advanced for your valuable time you spared for me
the engine :ver php 4.3.4
the server ia using iis5 and is working normally. I am using it at the moment for developing asp based website.

Okay, that is weird. How did you install PHP? Have you tried reinstalling it?

For IIS installs, are you running it as an ISAPI module, or CGI?
