Default Application Extension Mapping

I have followed the instructions from the beginning php4 book exactly. but when i get to the part about adding the application extension mapping i typed i specify the path to the php4isapi.dll file and add the .php extension. But after doing this the "OK" button will not allow me to click on it. It doesnt seem to become active. Anyone have any ideas on why this might be happening??

thanks

I'm not a big Windows user, and I no longer have a copy of the book, but I'd guess that the .PHP file extension is already associated with something else. I'm trying to think back, here, but isn't it in 'Tools>Folder Options>File Types', that you set those things?

Rather than try and get into the specifics of what you have and haven't done, my suggestion is have a read of the manual for the server you're attempting to configure PHP with. This URL is an index of all the servers PHP.net has written how-to articles for:
http://www.php.net/manual/en/installation.php
