hi everyone,

this problem bugs me to death and has been P***ING me off for ages. Ive got no idea why it gives me a fatal error.

The message i get is:-

Fatal error: session_start(): Failed to initialize storage module. in \\nas14ent\domains\m\mcfcosc.com\user\htdocs\minut esCheck.php on line 6

This message appears totally randomly at any point in my site and at any time. I would understand if it came up once on the same page and was consistant but its not. It could come up on the front page and then when i refresh it'l load fine?!?!?!

I have no idea what or where this has come from
any ideas?:(:(:(:(:(:(

I dont know. The way i create my PHP code is through dreamweaver and i host it on a server with FASTHOSTS company. Is it to do with their server?

I've already checked that bug fix page and it doesnt help me any!hehe!

I think it could be the php the server is running thats got this bug as it has hapened on many different computers and networks

any help?!

Tell me what version it is. Upgrading the version could help.

I've never heard of that error. You might try asking on a PHP mailing list.

I can't say what the problem is, but it might go away if the PHP version was upgraded. Request that they upgrade to PHP 4.3.9, or 5.0.2.

And if they don't listen, good luck! :-(
