Default PHP Mysql with Flash based display

Has anyone used Flash to control the display layer (browser side) with PHP and Mysql on the back end? If so how and what ports are used going to the web server? I hope only port 80 (html) and not an additional port for the flash file talking to the database from the browser.

Thanks Much,
Rob
