Default Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_pcon

hi friends,
i'm using php version 5.1.4.4, MySQL Server 5.0
when i try to use $cnn = mysql_pconnect($hostname_cnn, $username_cnn, $password_cnn) or die(mysql_error());
i'm getting following error message,
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_pconnect() in E:\webdesign\Accounts\Connections\cnn.php on line 6
can you please give me a quck solution.

You appear to have PHP5. As of PHP5 mysql support is not embedded into PHP. Instead you need to enable the mysql extension in the php.ini file in order to use any mysql_*() functions.

You'll want to go here:
http://uk.php.net/manual/en/ref.mysql.php

and scroll down the page until you find Installation on Windows Systems header and then read the paragraphs under the the PHP5+ heading.

hello,
now i'm getting following error,
PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library './php_mysql.dll' - The specified module could not be found. in Unknown on line 0
i don't have php_mysql.dll, can you guide me, where i may able to get
