Default what is the scope of PHP

Can anyone suggest me that what is the scope of PHP. Is is reliable to work on PHP. Like .NET I think PHP is not on the boom. Will it capture the market like .Net and java. I think PHP will not work at corporate level. Or will it.

Please suggest me.
thanx in advance,
RAAJ
