Default Search and Replace Using SQL Oracle i9

Can anyone show me a easy way to do a find and replace using SQL Oracle i9

Example
Select row1
From table1
Find ‘123”
Replace with ‘ABC

Thank you for your help

a quick Google shows sites such as http://www.techonthenet.com/oracle/f...ns/replace.php which cover this, so something like :

update table1 set row1=replace(row1,'123','ABC')

should work
