   I am recently joined in one company. They have already one site and asked to modify existing. It has done in PHP and MySql. They have given the ftp details. When I logon to ftp, i found only few files.

Like .bash_history, .bash_logout, .bash_profile, .bashrc, .redirect

  and access-log-previous.gz files only.
I didnt find any files with the extension .php or other.

I am totally blind here. How did the previous developed the site and which editor they used. How can the site accessible with these files uploaded.

Can anyone help me?

   How can I connect to remote database(MySql) from xampp?

How can I create an exe file of my site which contains all of my files. When I double click it will install my site into target system.
