I bought Tim's book PHP/MySQL Create Modify reuse, hoping it would give me a jump start on a project, but it is the most convoluted thing I have read in programming. I posted in that books forum but have received no response, it seems pretty dead there.

He has it setup where everything jumps through multiple files and it is impossible to extract the functionality I need from his system, no pointers to how I might extend it. Or get it back into some kind of working order.

Does anyone else have this book, and is able to make sense of it ?
