Default Getting data from machine
Hello,
i am connecting a weighing machine to my computer.I wud like to get the data from weighing scale onto the local machine/server as wud be possible.

Can anyone uide as to how I shd solve this problem.

Who is it made by?
What is the interface (RS-232, USB, ?)?
Does it come with software?
If so, what is it called?
If not, how do you use the fact that it is connected to your computer?

Hello,

The m/c is made by ATCO weighings, & its one of the best companies in India.

It uses RS-232 C interface.

& the data comes to the serial port.It can only be viewed.How do we gather data???in to a text file or so????
