Default word section protection

hi,

I am making templates for my training company.
from my mainscreen i open a template and fill in the standard text form fields at section 1
When i protect section 1, i can't use a lot of functions at my second section such as track change, mailmerge. How can i only protect my first section in a word document.

i now use the following vba code:

ActiveDocument.Sections(1).Protect wballowonlyformfields

i now that there are 4 protection types
wballowonlycomments
wballowonlyformfields
wballowonlyreading
wballowonlyrevisions

but whit non of these protections on at my first section i don't get all stander functions at my second section.
